Eid ul Azha 2025 in Pakistan: Time for Qurbani, Family & Joy

Eid ul Azha, also known as Eid ul Edha in Pakistan. It is one of the most important Islamic festivals. The Meaning Behind Eid ul Azha    

The life of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) offers a great lesson. In a dream, he observed, Allah gave him orders to offer his son his life. He turned to follow the order without a second thought. But Allah swapped his son for a ram just as he was ready to act. This was a spiritual test.    

In this narrative, the Ibrahim message is about complete respect for Allah and faith in Him in all circumstances. Muslims all around therefore present Qurbani to follow this Sunnah.    

Importance of Eid ul Adha

After the prayer, Muslims greet each other with the words  Eid ul Adha Mubarak and then perform Qurbani.
