The Punjab Dhee Rani Program is a social welfare initiative. This is launched by the Government of Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Its purpose is to help poor and deserving families marry off their daughters with dignity, especially when they cannot afford wedding expenses on their own.

Marriage is an important and sacred social responsibility in Pakistan. But many families struggle with the rising costs of things. The Dhee Rani Program is designed to support low income, orphaned, or disabled girls (or daughters of disabled people) by organizing collective (mass) weddings and giving financial and material help to make marriages possible without hardship.
Each selected bride receives a gift amount (salami) of PKR 100,000–200,000 transferred through an ATM card to help with wedding costs.
Along with the cash gift, brides often receive essential household items such as a prayer mat, Holy Quran, a bed with a mattress, a dinner set, and other basic goods worth around PKR 206,000.
The government arranges collective wedding ceremonies for many couples at once, reducing individual family expenses and stress.

After applying, officials will verify the family details, and if selected, you will receive notifications about the wedding date, venue, and support.
